Do children with disabilities in 3rd grade have smaller grades than the mean of
children in the entire school?
Null Hypothesis (H0): The grades mean of 3rd-grade children with disabilities is the same
as the grades mean of children in the entire school. (µ1 = µ2).
Alternative Hypothesis (H1): The grades mean of 3rd-grade children with disabilities is
smaller the grades mean of children in the entire school. (µ1 < µ2). The two means we plan to compare in this study are the mean of 3rd-grade children with disabilities grades and the overall mean of grades in the entire school. Alternative Hypothesis (H1): The prompt dependency of children with autism differs when
they are alone and when they are with a therapist. (µ1 ≠ µ2).
The two means we plan to compare in this study are the mean of prompt
dependency when the child is with the therapist and the mean of prompt dependency when
